HISTORY ON TUCKER CAR #002

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION ON THE HISTORY OF TUCKER CAR #002 AND WERE I MIGHT FIND A MASTER BRAKE CYLINDER FOR A TUCKER. THANK YOU.

History of Tucker 1002

Michael,
I am not sure that 1002 used the same master cylinder as most of the Tucker's as at that time Tucker was getting parts from wherever he could get them to complete the cars. They used several different Auto Lite generators, starters and voltage regulators. That said, most of the cars used an EIS F.E. 3113 however that master cylinder was made of steel and as a replacement we have gone to the EIS F.E. 3018 made of aluminum. This part should be available at NAPA stores or they could order it for you. Possibly find it at any old auto parts house.
Tucker 1002 was sold at the auction to Ezra Schlipf who then sold it to Russ Brownell. Russ sold it to Bill Hamlin in 1970 and when Bill passed away it was sold to Emmett Ryan in 1989. It was again sold in Feb. 1998.
